Frank Donkor was already a born-again Christian when
he attended California State University in
Northridge, and subsequently found good employment
in Sun Valley with a large aerospace company. He
resided in the States for 12 years. Victoria, his
wife, later joined him in the States. Over the
years, they grew in their Christian Faith to the
point where they felt a calling to return to their
homeland of Ghana on the West Coast of Africa, to
spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They gave up the
benefits of permanent residency in the USA and their
persuit of the "American Dream.”
They left the USA in 1989 to pioneer a church in Accra.
Within 2 years, they had raised up and sent out
disciples to pioneer another church in Kwashieman, a
suburb of Accra. They currently oversee a total of
29 churches in Ghana that have all been launched
from the original mother church established in1989.
Since then, they have developed their ministry
internationally as follows:
- 1998 Church established in Lome, Togo
- 1999 Church established in Morovia, Liberia
- 2006 Church established in Cape Town, South Africa
Their vision is to establish churches across the Continent of
Africa and to see the people of this vast continent
won for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
